Careers
Planned Parenthood Ottawa empowers, supports, and advocates alongside individuals seeking sexual and reproductive health care, including abortions. Through inclusive sexual health education, system navigation, and compassionate counselling, we ensure that everyone feels supported, respected, and informed as they navigate their health, relationships, sexuality, and gender identity. We are proud to offer a unionized workplace with a strong equity-lens, and a culture of care and collaboration. Want to join our team? Open positions are available below.
Fundraising Coordinator
As our Fundraising Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of PPO’s mission, connecting our community’s generosity with the resources that fuel our work. We’re looking for someone passionate about reproductive justice and skilled in building genuine, lasting relationships with donors. This role will focus on donor acquisition and stewardship, writing grants, and expanding our network of foundation partners. Aligned with our 2025-2029 strategic plan, your work will ensure that our programs continue to make a profound impact on the lives of those we serve. Application Deadline (EXTENDED): January 21, 2025. Please note that no late applications will be accepted.
Volunteering
Our organization works with a charitable bingo hall which raises funds that allow us to provide our essential services to our community. We occasionally call upon these volunteers to help us organize and hand out safer sex supplies at community events. If you have some day time availability on Wednesdays and have a passion for ensuring comprehensive sexual health education in our community, this could be the volunteer role for you!
We recruit our general volunteers bi-annually, and will post on our social media when we are recruiting with details on how to apply!
Follow our social media to stay up to date on when we will be recruiting.
