Masquerading Identities: the PTS Gala

Planned Parenthood Ottawa is proud to be a community sponsor for PTS' premiere fundraising event in 2010. We invite you to join us at this year's PTS gala: Masquerading Identities

On Friday, August 13th a dark and inauspicious day, guests are invited to don the attire of yesteryear and step into the tantalizing surroundings of a dark-themed masquerade ball.

This year’s festivities will showcase an extravagant blend of street performers, entertainers and musicians amongst an atmosphere of revelry and excitement. Your taste-buds are sure to be dazzled by the decadent treats and scrumptious hors d’oeuvres catered by Saffron and Chives.

Bask in the strange chords of vagabond music and gape in awe at the spectacle of impromptu acrobatics while you help raise funds for one of Ottawa’s most prominent queer institutions – PTS.

Each year PTS serves more than 2,000 people—many of whom come in times of distress and in need of community. The services at PTS give those in need a meeting place for cultivating new friends; and a safe space to celebrate their personal journey.

Tickets are available at Mother Tongue Books, After Stonewall, Venus Envy and PTS. $75 in advance or $80 at the door. Tickets can also be purchased online:
